Question 1

What is a faucet coin?

Accepted Answer

A holder rewards coin on pump.fun, also called a basket coin. Its faucet is a reward bot for your pump.fun coin. It turns the coin's pump.fun trading and creator fees into holder rewards: it claims them, buys the coin's main pair plus a rotating basket of smaller coins paired with it, and drips them to holders every 30 seconds, weighted by holdings.

Question 2

What is a main pair?

Accepted Answer

The coin your coin trades against on pump.fun. It anchors the orbit: every drip includes some of it, and every basket coin must be paired with it too. Because every smaller pair trades against the main pair, every buy of a smaller pair is also demand for the main pair. When those smaller pairs run their own faucets, their fees buy even more of it. More holders on the smaller pairs means more market cap, liquidity and holders for the main pair, which lifts the whole ecosystem.

Question 3

Why must my coin be paired with another coin, not SOL?

Accepted Answer

The faucet exists to grow an ecosystem around a main coin. A SOL pair has no orbit to lift, so there is no basket to rotate through and nothing for holders to collect beyond the coin itself.

Question 4

What do holders need to qualify?

Accepted Answer

They must hold at least the creator's USD minimum of the faucet coin. The default is $5. Rewards are then weighted by how much they hold.

Question 5

Can I change the basket?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time from your dashboard. Every coin you add must be paired with your main pair and buyable. Holders and other devs can also suggest new pairs on each faucet page, and the creator approves the ones they want, so the basket grows with the community.

Question 6

Can anyone suggest a coin for a basket?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every faucet page has a Suggest a pair form. Holders and other devs submit coins paired with the main pair, and the faucet creator approves the ones they want. Approved coins join the basket, so it grows with the community.

Question 7

Can someone get into my faucet just by pairing a coin with my token?

Accepted Answer

No. Pairing with your token only makes a coin eligible. Only you decide what goes in your basket, and you can remove any coin at any time.

Question 8

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

A one time setup fee in SOL (shown live on the launch page), part of which stays in your rewards wallet to pay transaction fees. After that, pump.fun trading and creator fees split 70% to holders, 25% to you and 5% to the platform.

Question 9

Can creators charge for pair submissions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creators can set a review fee for pair submissions. They receive 70% of every fee and the platform receives 30%, paid automatically. Fees pay for the review and are not refunded if a submission is declined.

Question 10

Can I withdraw the pool?

Accepted Answer

No. The holder pool belongs to holders. Nobody, including the creator, can withdraw it.

Question 11

What happens if I pause?

Accepted Answer

Drips stop until you resume. Fees keep accruing in the rewards wallet and are paid out once the faucet is running again.
