How to launch a pump.fun coin with creator rewards for your holders

This is the exact process for launching a pump.fun coin whose creator rewards pay your holders. It mirrors the launch wizard step for step, so you can read it first and then follow along. If you are new to the idea, start with what a holder rewards coin is and how basket coins work.

Before you start

• A Solana wallet such as Phantom or Jupiter, with enough SOL for the setup fee and your pump.fun launch.
• A main coin: the existing pump.fun coin whose ecosystem you want to grow. Your new coin will be paired with it.
• A few pair coins in mind for the basket. You can add more later.

Step 1: Plan your faucet

Connect your wallet and choose a faucet name, a ticker and a page name. The page name becomes your faucet page link, for example faucetlauncher.fun/f/yourcoin. Then set the minimum hold to qualify for rewards in US dollars. The default is $5. Press Create my faucet. Your wallet signs a message, which is free and is not a transaction.

Step 2: Pay the setup fee

Send the setup fee to your faucet's rewards wallet. You can scan the QR code or press Pay with wallet. Part of it stays in the wallet to pay its transaction fees. The wizard waits for the payment and moves on automatically once it arrives.

Step 3: Copy your faucet page link

Copy your faucet page link now. You will paste it into your coin's Website field on pump.fun so holders can find the faucet page, see the next drip and check their payouts.

Step 4: Launch your coin on pump.fun

This is the step where details matter most. On pump.fun, create a new coin and follow these rules.

Pair it with your main coin, not SOL

Choose your main coin as the pair. A coin paired with SOL cannot run a basket, because every basket coin must be paired with the same main coin. If you launch against SOL by mistake, the wizard will tell you and you will need to relaunch.

Keep creator rewards on

Make it a creator rewards coin. Do not choose a cashback coin or any option that turns creator rewards off. The faucet is funded entirely by pump.fun trading and creator fees, so without them it has nothing to drip.

Set the website field

Paste your faucet page link into the Website field, then launch and copy the new coin's contract address.

Back in the wizard, paste the contract address. You will see a preview with the logo, name, ticker and the coin it is paired with. Press Connect my coin.

Step 5: Send 100% of creator rewards to your rewards wallet

1. On your coin's pump.fun page, open the creator rewards settings.
2. Add your faucet's rewards wallet as the reward recipient.
3. Set it to 100% and remove any other recipient.
4. Save and approve it in your wallet.

The wizard checks automatically and confirms when creator rewards are verified at 100% to your rewards wallet. If the share is ever moved away later, the bot pauses itself and the faucet page shows why.

Step 6: Build your basket and start

Add coins that are paired with your main pair by pasting their contract addresses. The wizard warns you if a coin is paired with something else. Add at least one coin, then press Start my faucet. From then on, every 30 seconds the faucet buys your main pair or the next basket coin and drips it to holders.

Your basket can keep growing. Holders and other devs can suggest new pairs on your faucet page, and you approve the ones you want from the dashboard.
